Jack A. Litzenberg, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
Jack Litzenberg is the Interim Pathways Out of Poverty Program Director for the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation. He is also responsible for program development and grantmaking activities for the job retention and wage advancement workforce development portfolio, the microenterprise portfolio, and serves as a program officer for the Flint Area program. In addition, Mr. Litzenberg mentors other staff on the Poverty team on grantmaking and portfolio management. Finally, he helps out with program-related investments for the Foundation. Litzenberg’s work on sectoral employment has made a significant contribution to learning and evaluation of the field. In 1994, Litzenberg received the Council on Foundations’ Robert W. Scrivner Award for innovations and creativity in grantmaking, the highest award bestowed by the Council on Foundations. He is a Founding member of the National Network of Sector Partners Organizing Committee.
