Yumi Higashi arrived at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in New York as an analyst in April 2012. In December 2012, she was promoted to Associate and joined her colleagues Beth Gilroy, JJ Ko and Kazushi Udagawa as a team responsible for BTMU Foundation grants and the bank’s philanthropic program within the Corporate Communications Group.
Previously, Higashi worked as Communications Manager for ING Group and Business Manager for Morgan Stanley, based in Hong Kong and Tokyo. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Policy Management from Keio University. Originally from Tokyo, she has been a New York resident since 2010.
